The concept of intrinsic and extrinsic pathways of coagulation is really of most use when thinking of in vitro coagulation i.e. laboratory tests and does not reflect how in vivo haemostasis is conceived. This video uses factor X as its main point which I

I think the present understanding of coagulation cascade is not extrinsic or intrinsic pathways but cell based model of coagulation, I think it is important to learn that.
