Hypocalcemia and Hypomagnesemia

Why is hypocalcemia always associated with hypomagnesemia, and unresponding hypocalcemia will responde to magnesium correction if so whats the connection behind it?

I don't think that Hypocalcemia is not ''always'' associated with hypomagnesia. However, one role of magnesium is to stimulate secretion of PTH. Low magnesium (and high levels of magnesium) can result in reduction of PTH secretion
